Someone asked: What’s the difference between coin-margined and USDT-margined contracts?
I usually explain it this way: Coin-margined contracts are traded in contracts, each representing a fixed dollar value. USDT-margined contracts generally calculate your position directly in coin units. If you use BTC as collateral to open a long position in a coin-margined contract, the collateral itself also rises and falls with the coin’s price: when the price drops, the contract loses money while the collateral’s dollar value falls at the same time.
