Consensys and digital-signature provider eMudhra issued a security alert warning Ethereum operators of risks in eMudhra signing solutions. According to ChainCatcher, the teams found vulnerabilities in some Java trust stores and said certain configurations could expose deployments to risk. Default settings are not affected, but some Web3Signer deployments require immediate access-control changes. Web3Signer is an open-source remote signing tool developed by Consensys and commonly used to manage keys on Ethereum and other networks.
