📊 Earnings season: Which company has the biggest split in market expectations?
On Binance Pick, the odds of Microsoft’s earnings “beating expectations” are around 90% Yes, while Google is only around 20% Yes. Same earnings season, but confidence in the two companies is worlds apart.
My take 👇
1️⃣ High consensus doesn’t mean an easy win: the higher expectations are, the harder it is to “beat expectations.”
2️⃣ Low consensus doesn’t mean a disaster: if Google Cloud and its advertising business hold steady, the market reaction could matter more than the numbers themselves.
So I used 10 points to buy Google Yes (price: 0.35). See the screenshot below—I’ll come back to review once the results are out.
Who do you think is more likely to beat expectations?
