Deposited XRP to an exchange—the address is definitely correct, so why hasn’t it arrived?
Using a shared address with a Memo lets exchanges avoid managing a huge number of addresses. The trade-off is that identifying who a deposit belongs to depends entirely on that memo.
New XRP and XLM addresses must first receive enough coins to meet the minimum reserve requirement before they can be activated. Transfers below the threshold will be rejected.
The homepage of my study notes says: Understand before you place an order.
Understanding the principles helps you make an informed decision before you act; it’s not about trying to predict the market.
