ChinaAMC (Hong Kong) and Cheetah Trade, a licensed virtual asset trading platform under Futu, have launched 24/7 secondary-market trading for digital public funds approved by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. According to ChainCatcher, retail investors can trade tokenized units of the funds’ Hong Kong dollar and U.S. dollar digital money market funds year-round, with the first phase covering Class F units traded in their respective currencies. The service includes real-time indicative net asset value displays, price deviation alerts, and a five-minute cooling-off period. Around-the-clock trading is limited to the secondary market; primary-market subscriptions and redemptions remain subject to the fund offering documents and same-day net asset value calculation arrangements.
