Lately, I’ve been seeing lots of people on X talking about DeBox, especially Flash Pay and DeBox ID.

Flash Pay is genuinely pretty useful.

The most annoying thing about traveling abroad is exchanging money. Sometimes you also have to bring cash, then figure out how to pay once you arrive.

With DeBox Flash Pay, you can just scan a QR code and pay directly from the U in your wallet. Merchants receive local currency, saving you a lot of hassle with exchanging money.

It currently supports several countries and regions, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and South Korea. You may also be able to get cashback—reportedly up to 100%.

Also worth checking out is the recently launched DeBox ID. Set up your own unique ID so people can find you more easily and so it’s harder for others to impersonate you.

And with eSIM, you can even buy a data plan right in the app.

Honestly, DeBox is no longer just a chat app. It’s gradually bringing social features, a wallet, and payments together in one place.

Has anyone here used Flash Pay? How was the experience, and is the cashback easy to get?
