Just wanted to share a thought. I came across the headline, “The Bank of Japan is expected to hold steady this week, with over 80% of analysts expecting a rate hike in December,” and it reminded me of when I was new to the scene.
Back then, I’d rush to make a move as soon as I saw a news story. More than once, I ended up buying halfway up and selling near the bottom.
These days, my routine is: read the full article first, see how the market reacts, and only then decide whether to act. $QUICK I’m sticking to that this time, too.
At the end of the day, what worries me most isn’t getting the direction wrong—it’s letting a single news story push me into changing my position.
Have you ever been in a similar situation?
