On-chain data is flashing a warning for $AAVE .

Recently, around 156,000 AAVE tokens were transferred from wallets to exchanges. Deposits on this scale are usually not retail activity; they look more like institutions selling off in batches. Add in the cascade of altcoin liquidations triggered by Bitcoin’s sharp drop, and it’s no surprise that Aave is under short-term pressure. The price has already retreated to around $138.

Bulls are pinning their hopes on new ventures such as V4 stock tokens, but turning a narrative into revenue takes time—and these ventures can’t absorb this wave of selling pressure in the short term.

My view: Don’t rush to buy the dip until exchange inflows have eased and spot prices have stabilized again. If key support gives way, the next pool of liquidity could be much farther down. Keep your position size under control; there’s no harm in waiting until on-chain selling pressure genuinely subsides before talking about a reversal.
