Within 72 hours of launch, $AERO ’s trading volume on Robinhood doubled for several consecutive days. There are at least three signals behind these figures worth unpacking.

First, Robinhood represents a regulated retail gateway in the U.S. A doubling in trading volume means that new buyers aren’t coming only from longtime on-chain users; a broader pool of everyday users is entering through familiar channels, changing the makeup of the capital involved.

Second, Aerodrome is a leading DEX in the Base ecosystem, and interest in its token often moves in sync with activity across the network. Trading fees, LP incentives, and protocol revenue form a feedback loop, making its story more grounded than a simple “new Meme coin launch.” That’s also one reason mainstream platforms may choose to list it ahead of others.

Third, the smoother the price curve, the more important it is to stay level-headed. A surge in trading volume soon after launch usually involves a rush to accumulate and an emotional premium; consecutive doublings cannot last indefinitely. Before chasing the price, ask yourself: are you making money from the ecosystem’s growth, or from short-term liquidity?

The combination of a retail gateway, a public-chain ecosystem, and real revenue is what sets this rally apart from the biggest difference between this rally and a worthless coin. But a compelling story doesn’t mean the price can only go up. Position sizing and timing will always matter more than simply getting the direction right.
