【Market Update】CZ has set the tone for BNB Chain’s new L1: “Multiple chains, one coin.” The new chain will coexist with BSC and connect directly through a native cross-chain bridge. It won’t issue a new token; BNB will continue to be used for gas, staking, and governance. The goal is 200 ms block times and pre-confirmations in about 20 ms. The devnet is already up and running, with the testnet planned for the end of 2026 and mainnet for early 2027.
