Let’s review: yesterday I said we’d either reclaim 81000 or retest 79240. In the end, we did neither—$BTC spent the night going nowhere between 79845 and 81033. Price is hovering around 80100; it couldn’t break through 81000, but it didn’t test the floor at 79240 either. Enough to wear you down. In plain English, this is what things look like before an FOMC meeting.

Spot ETFs saw another $138 million in outflows last Friday, with IBIT alone shedding $110 million. But for the week as a whole, they still recorded net inflows of $300 million, ending a two-week losing streak. Institutions haven’t all left—they’re watching as they go. $ETH also fell to around 2344, while the Fear & Greed Index came in at 44: neutral, with a cautious tilt.

This week is when the cards are really dealt: the FOMC meets tomorrow and the day after, followed by Q3 GDP and PCE data, while oil is still holding above 111. My stance hasn’t changed: bearish, but I’m not chasing shorts or buying the dip at these levels. Making a move before the FOMC reveals its hand is just handing money to volatility.

Just my personal opinion, not financial advice: after the FOMC reveals its hand, will $BTC reclaim 81000 and catch its breath, or head straight for 77500? Pick a side in the comments.
