Money on-chain is held in smart contracts—but how safe is it really?
The risks go beyond the contract code: the price feeds, other protocols it relies on, administrative permissions, and even a tampered website frontend can all cause problems.
If the code is changed after an audit, or the deployed version doesn't match the audited version, you can't simply rely on the audit's conclusions.
Sometimes it takes costly lessons to realize: read the rules first.
Markets always hold surprises, so decide in advance what you'll do if your judgment turns out to be wrong.
