BNB Chain is preparing to build another high-performance L1! Official documentation revealed the New L1 plan on October 22, and CZ confirmed it shortly afterward. The new chain will not replace BSC and will be EVM-compatible, targeting 200-millisecond block times and finality in under one second. It will also eliminate the public transaction mempool to reduce frontrunning risks. The new chain will not issue a token; it will continue to use BNB for gas fees, with a testnet planned for the end of this year and mainnet launch early next year. Clearly, the $BNB ecosystem is gearing up for high-frequency trading, real-time payments, and AI agent use cases.
