The 15-minute candle for $ZEC is pretty interesting. Price only fell 0.65%, but volume surged to 5.51×, OI’s anomaly percentile hit 98%, and it ranked third across the entire pool—this isn’t ordinary drift lower on shrinking volume; longs are getting flushed out. On 5-minute Binance futures, there were 184K USDT in liquidations, heavily concentrated on the sell side. Combined with an aggressive-trade delta of -12.3% and a buy/sell ratio of 0.78, the order book clearly shows someone dumping. But OI is down just 0.25% over 15 minutes, with notional OI down 7.14M, so the drop isn’t especially severe. This looks more like a stop-loss cascade than a trend reversal. With this kind of setup, I’d usually wait for one more candle to see whether things stabilize after the liquidation wave passes. Don’t rush to catch a falling knife.
