UNI’s 15m move is pretty interesting: volume expanded sharply to 3.52x, the aggressive buy/sell ratio was 2.15, and the volume delta was over 36%—buyers are genuinely pushing it higher.

But on closer look, there’s a bit of a wrinkle: price rose 1.31%, while OI on both the 15m and 1h timeframes edged down. Yet the notional change ranked 6th across the whole pool, with an anomaly percentile of 97.6%. Price up, OI down—that’s classic short-covering behavior, not fresh longs entering.

The close also broke above the top of the recent 20-candle 5m range, and 24h trading volume was 135 million. This setup could mean shorts are being forced to close, or someone got in early—but with no confirmation from OI, chasing the move is questionable.

I’ll keep watching for now; no rush to jump in.
