$BILL These 15 minutes have been something. Price is up 3.38%, while volume surged to 10.9 times its usual level. OI is up 7.62% over 15 minutes and 10% over 1 hour, with notional change moving in tandem. Price up + OI up: classic leveraged longs piling in—not the false pop you get from short covering.

Funding rates have climbed to a high percentile recently, and OI's anomaly percentile is 100%—ranked first across the entire pool. This has continued for several consecutive periods; it's not just a one-candle spike. The active trade imbalance is 11.1%, and the buy/sell ratio is 1.25, so buyers really are driving the move.

That said, OI has reached a historically extreme range, and leverage is packed in tight. From here, it could either accelerate or trigger a cascade of liquidations; there's not much chance of an in-between outcome. 24-hour trading volume is only 8.51M, and the pool is shallow. If you're chasing longs at these levels, think carefully about where to place your stop-loss. I'm watching and will consider reversing only if funding gets even more extreme.
