Would you let an AI agent spend your money? My first question would be: what are its limits?
That’s what caught my attention about $KITE and Kite Passport.
You approve a spending session with a passkey and set three boundaries: the total budget, the maximum amount per transaction, and the time window. The agent can then pay for supported services within those limits.
Imagine giving an agent a $5 budget, a $1 limit per payment, and two hours to complete a task. That makes the permission much easier to understand.
For me, the useful part is keeping control while reducing repeated payment approvals. But I would still ask whether a paid service offers anything a free alternative cannot.
AI payments need clear boundaries before they become everyday habits. This is the part of Kite I’m most interested in exploring.
