šŸ“Š Took a quick look at the liquidation map before the U.S. market opened: tonight, both sides have almost the same amount of fuel.

The 80,000 level was swept this morning, then quickly reclaimed. But the real story is in the leverage distribution—within 3% below $BTC , there’s about $640 million in long liquidation fuel; within 3% above, there’s about $670 million in short fuel. More or less even. Over the past 24 hours, actual liquidations totaled $134 million, nearly 90% of them longs: when the price dipped, it was the buyers chasing the rally who got burned first.

More subtly, look at funding rates: nearly 70% of Binance accounts are bullish, yet rates are stuck in the neutral 0.003%–0.008% range and haven’t picked up for two straight days. Lots of positions, little funding paid—the spring is tightly wound. Around 81,000 above, there’s a short cluster worth about $16.6 million; at 79,984 below, a long cluster worth about $14.9 million. A little momentum could set either one off. Above that, a short liquidation wall of about $1.8 billion still looms between 85,000 and 87,500.

I’m sitting this one out, waiting for the spring to snap one way first. Data as of today; not investment advice. Which side’s fuel are you watching to ignite first tonight—the wall above or the floor below?
