Let’s talk about oracles.
Smart contracts can’t access off-chain data on their own, such as asset prices or weather information. Oracles bring this data onto the blockchain.
To be honest, I only came to understand this later: when prices rise or fall sharply, oracle prices may differ slightly from exchange quotes, so leave plenty of buffer in your lending positions.
