The two groups describe completely different scenarios for their first encounter with $DOGE : one was hit with a Shiba Inu meme forwarded by a friend; the other saw the word in a news story about a tip or gratuity. Some people only discovered a sum sitting in their wallet when they opened it—and couldn’t even remember how it got there.
The first time I saw it was in someone’s forum signature. There was the word “doge,” and I thought it was just a joke. Only later did I learn that this Shiba Inu had already been around in memes for years.
What was your first encounter like? Did anyone around you talk about it back then?
#Dogecoin #DOGE DYOR—just chatting.
