Learning Notes | Merkle Tree
① A Bitcoin block header is only 80 bytes long, and contains the Merkle root of all transactions in the block.
② If any transaction in a block is modified, its hash changes and the change propagates up to the Merkle root, causing the block hash to change as well.
③ Lightweight wallets get their data from the nodes they connect to. For large incoming payments, you can cross-check them on several block explorers.
