$BMT rose 51.63% over 24 hours. Why might buyers who entered at the top still be hurting?

Snapshot price: 0.03480000 USDT, about 32.3% below the high of 0.05144000 during the same window.

Green numbers on the gainers list can easily make people overlook their entry price. With the same coin, buying early and buying near the top can feel very different.

Over the same 24-hour period, $BMT was up 51.63%, while BTC was down 0.20% and ETH was down 1.02%. That’s a difference of 51.83 and 52.65 percentage points, respectively. The start and end of each measurement window were aligned to within 60 seconds.

My view: its relative strength is more worth discussing than the standalone price change. This comparison describes price performance only; it doesn’t prove that funds flowed in or that news drove the move. Going forward, I’ll watch whether its gains relative to BTC and ETH hold. If both gaps narrow significantly, I’ll have to downgrade my assessment of its independent strength. Do you find relative performance more convincing, or do you need a specific event to explain this divergence?
