Privacy coins are getting interesting: Grayscale’s $ZEC ETF has seen net inflows for 4 consecutive trading days—$1.61 million on October 20, $15.18 million on the 21st, $14.23 million on the 22nd, and $20.52 million on the 23rd. That’s a total of $51.54 million over 4 days, with the single-day $20.52 million inflow the largest since September 22. Cumulative net inflows are back to $204 million, and the fund’s assets total $686 million. The irony is that the coin’s price hasn’t kept up: $ZEC has fallen from around $1,287 on October 21 to the $1,160 range, down 5.7% in a single day. The ETF is buying while the coin’s price is falling—this kind of divergence has often preceded a market shift: either institutions are quietly accumulating, or retail investors are heading for the exits. And don’t forget, in early October Winklevoss filed for a Zcash ETF with a fee just one-tenth of Grayscale’s (0.25%). The privacy-sector drama is only just getting started. #Zcash #PrivacyCoins
