Serenity criticized Sivers (SIVE) management for not making a clear commitment to its Nasdaq listing timeline, saying the lack of clarity could heighten market concerns about the company’s near-term execution. According to Odaily, Serenity said Sivers plans to add annual capacity for 100 million CW DFB lasers in the fourth quarter of 2027, as the industry faces tight supply. Serenity noted that Lumentum’s (LITE) capacity is sold out through 2029, while Coherent (COHR) and Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) are redirecting some laser capacity to their own product programs. Serenity also said potential commercialization opportunities with Jabil (JBL) and GlobalFoundries (GFS), along with Sivers’ co-packaged optics projects, could see key developments from 2027.
