【The itch to trade is real, but TRX has been wearing me down this week】

Watching that 0.33 line, I almost mistook “holding steady” for an opportunity. Down 1.7% over 7 days, barely moved in 24 hours, and volume was low again: some people are sitting on the sidelines, but nobody is rushing to buy. I said “there could be a play in this range,” but I still didn’t dare dip a hand in. I saw this setup back in 2017—the way they cut you hasn’t changed, only the packaging has.

What was really worth reviewing over these 7 days wasn’t some breaking news story, but my earlier bias toward a recovery: down 23.5% from its ATH, surely it would bounce a little after moving sideways. I got the timing half right, but misjudged the strength. The weekly average FNG fell from 57 to 51. Sentiment has cooled, but it’s nowhere near panic; a breakout without volume looks more like a fake move designed to bait FOMO. 0.322626 and 0.336943 are just levels to watch, not oracles.

In practical terms, low liquidity affects short-term capital first: getting in and out can mean slippage, and a breakout could turn out to be a false move. Teams that rely on TRON’s low-cost transfers and USDT settlement should take a hard look at their business: users still using the network doesn’t mean they’re willing to create additional demand for TRX itself. Projects that rely on subsidies to drive activity or trading fees to make a living will feel the chill sooner than ordinary holders. Whether the business model adds up still depends on real demand and real revenue.

Next week, I’ll be watching volume, sentiment, and whether the range can be broken decisively. The recovery thesis isn’t dead, but “it hasn’t fallen” does not mean “someone is buying.”

My view changed this week: from leaning toward a recovery to waiting for confirmation. The fear of missing out is real, but so is the fear of getting burned by a low-volume fake breakout.

What’s your mindset right now? TRX keeps grinding—are you itching to trade?
