An excited heart, trembling hands—last night, crypto brought back the thrills and speed!
At 2:30 a.m., I jolted awake from a dream again. My heart was pounding. My first instinct wasn’t to check the time, but to grab my phone. In the dream, İRYS had crashed, and all my altcoins had gone to zero. When I woke up and checked, it was actually going up. Just like that, I was wide awake.
I sat up and watched the candles one by one. People in the community were saying a few whales had been liquidated for millions, and this move was probably aimed at them. Someone else said another few million could be liquidated around 0.48. I set my take-profit at 0.5. If it really wicked up, momentum might carry it there.
At 3:00, the volatility kicked in. It instantly touched 0.5046. That was the high. My take-profit triggered. My account was up 300,000. In theory, I should’ve been smiling. I stared at that 300,000, my hands still shaking—not from excitement, but from the fear of what could’ve happened. The image of everything going to zero in my dream was still fresh. That 0.5046 spike flashed by and then pulled back. If I’d gotten greedy and tried for one more bite, that 300,000 might not still be there.
It was still dark outside. I poured myself a glass of water, but didn’t drink it. I just sat there, listening to my heartbeat slowly settle. The total was 300,000. The screen was still flashing, so I closed the app. I put my phone face down on the table.
By the time I lay back down, it was almost 6:00. It wasn’t that I wasn’t tired. I just couldn’t believe I’d actually stopped trading. In the past, at a time like this, I would’ve opened another position, thinking I could squeeze out one more win. This time, I didn’t. With 300,000 sitting in my account, I closed my eyes. I didn’t sleep deeply, but at least I slept.
I thought back to when I first got into crypto. I could fall asleep at ten at night, dreaming that tomorrow would bring a new all-time high. Back then, I still believed one bull run could set me free. I’d even brag over drinks: “Wait till I get in—I’ll take you all to the moon.” Now there are more zeros in my bank account, but I can only get my sleep back by knowing when to stop.
No matter how much U I make, I can’t buy back the innocence I had at the start. But at least last night, I traded the 300,000 I made at 0.5046 for a few hours of sleep without being woken by the market. Fellow crypto veterans, are you like this too? When will we be able to take profit at the top and walk away, instead of watching the price pull back and still wanting to jump in one more time? #İRYS #
