Tactical profit-taking: locked in gains on oil before the weekend!

Closed my BZUSDT (10X) short position with a return of +11.35% — entered at 106.03 and took profits at 104.7. The trade played out technically, but the numbers are telling me it’s time to pause.

Why did I exit, and what’s the plan from here?

Local reversal: The chart structure suggests a bounce upward is brewing, and I don’t want to sit through this correction.

Weekend factor: Saturday and Sunday are just ahead. Liquidity drops, volatility decreases, and markets will be sluggish. There’s no point tying up margin.

A new sniper short: I’ll be looking for an entry point much higher up. As trading opens on Monday, I plan to aggressively build up my short position again. The all-time high (ATH) was around 117, and I absolutely don’t believe we’ll see a breakout above $118–119 per barrel.

The plan is simple: let the market push the price higher, lure in the longs, then hit it with another short at an ideal risk/reward ratio.

A well-timed re-entry from a strong level is always better than greedily holding onto a trade, don’t you think? 👇
