Twitter’s translation feature has flattened the world. It turns out people everywhere love arguing on Twitter, and the Chinese-speaking community really is a level above in logic and critical thinking—just as half of all AI talent comes from people of Chinese descent. That must be thanks to China’s basic education. Ever since I affected the interests of a token-issuing group nine years ago and they organized a smear campaign against me, I’ve gotten used to being slandered and having people chase clout off my name. They’ve simply exploited the loophole that spreading rumors on Twitter can’t be prosecuted in China. Still, there are different levels of ability among these people. I don’t even know most of them. I understand they’re trying to make a living by piling on with smears; I just hope they’ll raise their standards and stick closer to the truth.
