🔷 Oil at $100, longs liquidated for $350M and ETF outflows of $635M
BTC ETFs gave back more in a single day than they had taken in the previous day. BTC is now around $81.8K.
What happened:
• Thursday: $635M in outflows, the largest since June 25. IBIT: −$254M, FBTC: −$217M
• Three days of inflows ($1.08B) came to an end, and October is back in the red: around −$175M
• ETH ETFs lost another $110.5M
• About $404M in liquidations over 24 hours, including roughly $350M in long positions
• WTI oil is near $100, and inflation talk is back. The Fed on October 28 is the main catalyst.
And now the main point: the rebound to $84.8K didn’t last long. According to research by DWF Labs, ETF flows tend to follow prices rather than lead them. Personally, I’m watching $80K: the market already tested that level in October.
Are funds cutting their positions, or is this just a pause before a new wave of inflows? 👇
