$EDGE Up 15.5% in a day, with trading volume at 2.2× its market cap: buyers outnumber sellers, but the top 10 addresses hold 93% of the supply

Bottom line: Old Farmer is putting this on the watchlist, in the cautious category. It’s had a lively run, but the supply is too concentrated to chase.

This coin got off to a seriously strong start. A snippet from the leaderboard’s AI summary caught my eye: in its first 20 hours on Binance Alpha, trading volume exploded, buyers far outnumbered sellers, and whales joined in. It’s up 15.5% over the past 24 hours, trading around $0.3536. The leaderboard puts its market cap at $1.59 million, while 24-hour trading volume hit $3.46 million—2.2 times its market cap. That kind of turnover puts it among the notable names on the board.

A closer look at the buy and sell figures: 8.26K buy transactions worth $1.77 million; 8.68K sell transactions worth $1.68 million. There were more sells by transaction count, but more buying by value—small holders are getting out while larger buyers are accumulating, helping push the price up. There are 2,222 holders; another data site reports 2,233, so the numbers are in the same ballpark.

The major red flag is the supply distribution: the top 10 addresses hold 93%, and the page marks it in red 🚨. The main EDGE/USDT pool has $600K in liquidity, while trading volume is nearly 6× the pool’s size. The pool is on the shallow side, so large trades can move the price in either direction. On the plus side, the tax is under 0.1%, the security scan is clean, and no honeypot, minting, or blacklist issues were flagged.

One more thing to watch out for: searching for EDGE brings up several pools. On another data site, there’s also an EDGE/Subject 3 pool under this contract, with only $7 in liquidity—the main EDGE/USDT pool (the one with $600K) isn’t listed there at all. Pick the wrong pool and the price can differ quite a bit (0.3416 for the dust pool versus 0.3536 for the main pool). The usual rule for playing Alpha: check the contract, 0x70f2eadf1ca1969ff42b0c78e9da519e8937cbaf, not just the name.

It’s an AI-themed project, launched over six months ago (2026-03-31). Among its holders are 14 smart-money wallets, 3 whales, and 7 KOLs. There are also 212 linked addresses and 158 phishing-related addresses in the mix. There’s a story, and there’s data, but that 93% concentration is hard to ignore. If it goes up, it can really go up—but if it gets dumped, there may be no one there to catch it. Old Farmer will keep watching and wait to see if the supply spreads out.

This is just Old Farmer chatting about the data, not investment advice. Alpha projects are high-risk and could go to zero. Make your own call.

Buy volume is beating sell volume, but the top 10 still hold 93%—do you think big money is lighting the fuse, or is concentrated supply being pumped before a sell-off? Let’s talk in the comments.
