After ChatGPT’s Codex launched Dot, I didn’t expect X to follow suit so quickly with Grok Bot. It feels like the AI personal assistant space is getting more and more exciting.

But before we get into that, let me rally some votes for my good buddy @Powerpei . If you have a moment, guys, please cast a vote to show your support! 😂投票入口

Back to Grok Bot.

I tried it out today, and my first impression was pretty good.

Its ability to gather and understand information was impressive. After just a few exchanges, it understood what I needed and even proactively helped me schedule a task.

I asked it to put together a morning briefing on SNDK, AI chip stocks, and the crypto market every day at 9:30 a.m. Beijing time, and surprisingly, it got it set up in no time.

But the most interesting thing today wasn’t any of those features.

Before we ended the chat, it thoughtfully asked me:
“Is there anything else you’d like me to look into before then?”

I casually replied:
“Off with you. His Majesty is tired.” 😂

Guess what it said back?

Not only did the thing send me an emoji, it also said, completely seriously:

“As you command. Your humble servant takes his leave 🙇 I shall return at 9:30 tomorrow morning to present Your Majesty with the briefing.”

Hahaha, that cracked me up.

AI is getting smarter by the day—and now it’s even learning how to be tactful and funny.

At this rate, maybe we really will all have our own AI assistants someday.

Have you tried Grok Bot yet? #大漠茶馆
