Gold’s current trend is very straightforward: rebounds are weak, and prices remain under sustained pressure and continue to move lower. Today, gold hit a new low for the week, with the session low already dipping below 4000. The broader trend is firmly dominated by sellers—there’s no doubt about that. There may be a small short-term rebound as a correction, but don’t mistake a modest bounce for a trend reversal.

Yesterday, after six consecutive successful calls, we kept emphasizing that small bullish candles in a weak market are only temporary corrections. Sideways consolidation is simply building momentum for another leg down—it is absolutely not a sign that the decline has bottomed. We were on a winning streak yesterday as well!

The market has finally chosen a direction: a large bearish candle on heavy volume drove prices lower, breaking straight through support at the bottom. The consolidation pattern is completely over, perfectly confirming the rule that “the longer the consolidation, the sharper the breakout.” The bearish channel is now fully open, with no sign of a reversal.

The technical picture is broadly bearish. A large bearish daily candle has broken below support, while a bearish moving-average crossover is capping prices—clearly a one-way weak market. On the 4-hour chart, consecutive bearish candles are stepping lower, the Bollinger Bands are opening to the downside, and bearish MACD momentum continues to build. Multiple timeframes align in favor of further downside, and short-term rebounds are mostly just weak corrections.

Today’s trading plan is simple. First resistance is at 4110–4118, with strong resistance and a key pivot at 4140–4145. As long as prices don’t break above that zone, every rebound is an opportunity to sell. The short-term support below is 3986. The key question is whether sellers can push through the 4000 level and extend the breakdown.

In a weak market, don’t try to pick a bottom against the trend, and don’t wait for a big rebound before selling. A small bounce is an opportunity to enter.

Recommendation: If prices rebound to 4030 during the morning session, sell with the trend. Add to the short position on a rebound to 4050–4060, with a unified stop at 4070. Target a break below 4000, then watch whether the long wick at 3986 also gives way; further downside targets are 3950–3900. $BTC #币安神算子
