Starknet community votes to study going L1
Starknet's governance poll passed. Research now starts on whether Starknet should become an independent, post-quantum L1 instead of an Ethereum L2. A joint StarkWare and Starknet Foundation working group will publish a paper in the coming months.
Their reason is timing. Starknet targets full post-quantum security by 2027, and Ethereum targets 2029. Any real move still needs a separate community vote. $STRK
