Crypto | Morning Brief | October 23

The majors are plunging, while shitcoins are still bouncing around. In a market like this, I'd rather stay on the sidelines.

$BTC 81299, 24h -3.49%, dumped from 84330, now just a step away from the intraday low of 80888.
$ETH 2386, -3.76%, $SOL 103.56, -3.46%.
The three majors are weakening in sync, with ETH and SOL taking a harder hit than BTC.
It's broad-based deleveraging.

But the other side of the market is sharply divided: MAGMA 24h +53%, BTR +50%,
while the biggest losers are ALT -39%, MRNA -21%.
It's clear what the money is doing: dumping the majors and pumping the fringe.

My stance is clear: wait and see.

80888 is a meat grinder. Chasing a rally risks getting left holding the bag; chasing shorts risks getting caught by a wick.
I'd rather stay flat and wait for the market to pick a direction.

The trades that have cost me the most over the past few years were all opened in moments of this kind of uncertainty.

Today, I'm watching just two things.
First, whether $BTC 80888 can hold. If it breaks, I'll keep waiting;
second, small-cap coins with gradual pullbacks kept within 10%—
those are the ones you can actually hold. I won't touch anything that's already doubled and stretched.

No calls, no fees—just talking about market structure.
For today's market, have you already cut your losses, or are you still holding on?
If this resonates, let's chat in the comments.
