$SOL
Wall Street money market funds are coming to Solana: JPMorgan has taken tokenized cash management multichain.
On October 22, the asset manager announced that two tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, are opening access to Solana for eligible U.S. investors. Subscriptions and redemptions will still go through Morgan Money, with tokens sent to on-chain addresses. MONY is a private U.S. dollar money market fund launched in December 2025. At the time, it was the first tokenized money market fund issued on a public blockchain by a global systemically important bank. JLTXX is a U.S.-registered government money market fund designed to serve as a reserve asset for stablecoin issuers. Adding another chain alongside Ethereum means institutions no longer have to keep their idle cash tied to a single network.
Takeaway: This is a bullish institutional adoption narrative, but don’t chase the price at current levels just because of the news.
Which side are you on: is this more bullish for $SOL or for the stablecoin sector?
