Anthropic just dropped research on using Claude for formal verification at scale—this is actually massive for code security.

Historically, formal verification (mathematically proving code is bug-free) only worked on tiny codebases or needed tons of expert hours. Now Claude is proving security properties across 100+ real-world open-source libraries in weeks, not years.

Collaboration with Theorem Labs. This isn't toy examples—these are production libraries people actually use. The shift from "formal verification is too expensive" to "LLM-assisted verification scales" could change how we think about critical infrastructure security.

If this holds up, we're looking at automated security proofs becoming standard tooling instead of academic curiosities. The gap between "code works" and "code provably works" just got way smaller.
