#TeslaSlides5%PreMarket

A 5% drop tells you what happened. It doesn't automatically tell you why.

Tesla's premarket decline is a useful reminder for anyone trading crypto: markets often react to expectations, not just the headline numbers.

When a company reduces its spending forecast, investors may see two different stories.

One side sees better short-term cash flow and tighter financial discipline.

The other sees potentially slower investment in the projects expected to drive future growth.

Both interpretations can exist at the same time.

Crypto traders can apply the same lesson to Bitcoin and altcoins. A positive announcement does not guarantee a price increase, and negative news does not always mean an asset will keep falling.

Before reacting to a headline, ask three questions:

• Was the news already expected? • How does it change future expectations? • Is the price movement supported by broader market conditions?

The goal isn't to predict every move. It's to avoid making decisions based on a headline alone.

When markets react to unexpected news, what do you check first: the fundamentals, the chart, or overall market sentiment?
