Bitcoin is holding steady in a **$81,000–$82,000** range, with the total crypto market cap at around **$2.74 trillion**. Prices have fluctuated slightly over the past 24 hours, while BTC’s market share has climbed back above 60%. Ethereum is a little weaker, dipping below or hovering around $2,400. Weekend liquidity is thin, and the overall market is mostly moving sideways. What’s really grabbing attention: 1. U.S. spot ETFs continue to “bleed” Bitcoin ETFs saw nearly $1 billion in net outflows over the past two weeks. Ethereum ETFs had more than $300 million in outflows last week—an even bigger hit than BTC. “Uptober” has turned into “Red October,” with institutional investors clearly holding back or even pulling out. 2. Michael Saylor is “hinting” at another big buy Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) now holds around 848,000 BTC, and Saylor posted an image hinting that another purchase may be on the way. The old bull is still quietly piling up coins—a stark contrast with short-term market sentiment. 3. Traditional giants keep moving in Deutsche Bank has officially entered the crypto custody business, covering Bitcoin and Ethereum. Wall Street banks are talking cautiously while quietly building infrastructure—a classic case of “actions speak louder than words.” 4. Security incidents keep piling up The Qubic wallet was drained of around $1.3 million, and the Cysic bridge was attacked, among other incidents. A reminder: hackers may show up before the bull market does. ### My take Honestly, the most striking thing about the market right now isn’t a dramatic surge or crash—it’s the divide. On one side, ETF outflows continue, inflation data is running hot, and expectations for rate cuts are cooling, making short-term investors cautious. On the other, long-term believers like Saylor keep buying, while banks accelerate their plans for custody and tokenization. This pattern of “short-term money heading out, long-term money flowing in” is often a period of accumulation ahead of a major move—not the final stage of a bear market. Personally, I’m more optimistic about what lies ahead. Bitcoin has pulled back more than 30% from its all-time high, and support around $80,000 looks fairly solid. As long as the Fed doesn’t suddenly turn much more hawkish, there’s a decent chance we’ll test higher levels again before year-end. Altcoins are generally weaker right now, with capital clearly rotating back into BTC. Altcoin season is still a long way off. As for trading: don’t get carried away over the weekend, keep your position size under control, and prioritize protecting your core holdings. The real opportunities often come when everyone thinks the market is “boring, moving sideways, and lacking a catalyst.” What do you think? Is this a good time to buy the dip, or should we keep waiting? Join the discussion.

🔥 “Uptober” has turned into “Downtober.” BTC holds above $81,000 as quantum threats and a hardware wallet scandal hit at the same time. The crypto market is broadly weak. Total market cap has fallen to around $2.75–$2.84 trillion, down 1%–3% over the past 24 hours. BTC is hovering around $81,500, down less than 1%; ETH is around $2,420–$2,430, also edging lower. Liquidations are still around $200 million, with longs continuing to get wiped out. The biggest disappointment is that “Uptober” has completely failed to deliver. Historically, October has often been a strong month for BTC, but so far this year BTC is down nearly 4%, falling from around $84,800 at the start of the month to where it is now. ETH, XRP, and SOL are down more than 10%. Macroeconomic pressures are the main cause: hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation data, fading expectations of Fed rate cuts, a sell-off in AI tech stocks, and rising oil prices have weighed on risk assets across the board. ETFs are also seeing continued outflows, and institutional buying has slowed noticeably. - Quantum threats are escalating: Nine crypto companies have formed the “Quantum Alliance” to address the potential risks quantum computing poses to the security of BTC and ETH public keys. This isn’t scaremongering—in the long run, it’s a real issue, though in the short term it’s more of a sentiment shock. - The Ledger hardware wallet scandal resurfaces: A researcher has alleged that Ledger received a report about malicious hardware implants as early as late 2025, and confirmed an investigation in March this year. Hardware wallets are supposed to be the “last line of defense” for security, but trust has taken another hit. In the short term, the market is seeing “choppy trading at elevated levels + leverage flushes.” The $80,000 support level is holding for now, suggesting that big players are still buying the dip, but a quick return to the highs will be challenging. What will really determine the direction is the Fed’s rate path and inflation data. If interest rates stay high for even longer, crypto will find it hard to escape the pressure. I remain bullish over the long term. The narrative of BTC as digital gold hasn’t changed, and institutional custody and ETF infrastructure continue to improve. Quantum threats and hardware security issues may actually push the industry to upgrade, ultimately benefiting projects with genuine technological moats. At these levels, instead of chasing rallies and panic-selling, it’s better to manage your positions carefully. Those who can weather this “fake Uptober” are often the ones who really reap the rewards in the next cycle. Markets always reward patience, not emotion.

Tesla’s New Roadster Really Flew: Engineering Showcase or Glimpse of the Future? Today’s hottest Tesla story is the next-generation Roadster unveiled at SpaceX’s test site in Texas. This supercar, delayed for nearly a decade, has finally become more than a PowerPoint presentation. In a live demonstration, it used SpaceX cold-gas thrusters to go from 0 to 60 mph in under a second (about 0.81 seconds), flip in midair, jump over a row of semi-trucks, and even drive upside down. Tesla shares surged 4–5% in premarket trading. Musk says production won’t begin until 2028. The price hasn’t been set, but it’s sure to be an ultra-high-end toy. First and foremost, this is a top-tier engineering showcase—and the best advertisement yet for collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. Cold-gas thrusters aren’t sci-fi special effects; they’re real aerospace technology brought down to the automotive level. Turning the “cars can fly” meme into a controlled demonstration shows that Tesla still has an edge in extreme performance and systems integration. For those who say Tesla does nothing but tell stories, this is a resounding slap in the face. But it will do little for Tesla’s core business. However cool the Roadster may be, it’s still a low-volume halo product. Even a few thousand sales would be a lot, and its contribution to overall deliveries and profits will be negligible. Robotaxi, Optimus, and energy remain the real pillars supporting Tesla’s valuation. This launch feels more like a reminder to the market that Tesla’s moat isn’t just software: its hardware engineering is formidable too, and collaboration across companies (Tesla + SpaceX) is accelerating. That’s also rekindled speculation about a merger, which analysts at Barclays and others have raised. Looking at it rationally, 2028 is still a long way off, and regulation, cost, and reliability are all unknowns. The flying capability will most likely be limited to a demonstration version or an optional package—something ordinary people won’t be able to buy or use. But the message is clear: Tesla is still trying to redefine the boundaries of what a “car” can be, rather than just competing on price and range. I like companies that dare to put on a show like this. As electric vehicles become increasingly alike, it’s much more interesting to see something that genuinely takes your breath away once in a while than to watch endless price cuts and feature wars. What do you think? Is this the real future, or just another marketing frenzy?

Hot sectors and specific areas to watch that will remain relevant in 2026

RWA tokenization: Attracted significant capital in Q3 (including projects like Ondo Finance). Tokenized U.S. Treasuries, private credit, gold/commodities, and more are already live, with the market reaching tens of billions of dollars. Opportunities lie in issuance platforms, compliance tools, and secondary trading.

AI × Crypto: Verifiable AI, privacy-preserving AI inference, AI agent infrastructure, and decentralized computing/data. Multiple projects have raised tens of millions to over $100 million.

Prediction markets: Polymarket and Kalshi have reached valuations in the tens of billions, with institutional capital pouring in. Trading terminals and aggregators are the next wave of opportunities.

DeFi and trading infrastructure: Perpetual DEXs (Hyperliquid has performed particularly well, with large buyback volumes), stablecoin payments, and institutional-grade lending. Capital favors companies with revenue and licenses over pure protocols.

Other tokens to watch (India/global perspective, October picks): Chainlink (LINK, oracles + cross-chain + institutional adoption), Helium (HNT, wireless DePIN), Toncoin (TON, Telegram ecosystem), ICP (decentralized cloud + AI), FIL (decentralized storage), and others.

Airdrop/early participation opportunities (October-related): Some projects have deadlines or points phases (such as the Ammora testnet, MINT, TxFlow, Fables, and others). Be mindful of the risks, prioritize official channels, and avoid exposing your private keys.

#美国9月PPI年率升至6.3% These are signs that the energy shock is spreading from producers to the broader economy. Combined with the earlier CPI data, inflation is becoming more persistent, leaving the Fed with a tougher trade-off between price stability and economic resilience.
Going forward, watch oil price trends, whether core inflation spreads further, and the FOMC decision at the end of October.

Don’t panic and sell every time the price crashes! On-chain “cost distribution” can tell you whether to panic or stay calm
Hey everyone, have you ever had this happen? Bitcoin dips, and the whole feed is flooded with “Run!” and “It’s going to zero!” You panic too and, with one twitch of your finger, sell at the bottom. Then right after you sell, it starts shooting back up, and you’re so mad you want to throw your phone. Don’t rush to blame yourself for having weak hands. Today, I’ll teach you a strategy that institutions and seasoned on-chain veterans pay attention to: on-chain cost distribution. Once you understand it, you’ll know when to panic and when to stay calm. This is exactly the kind of mindset you need to remember subconsciously: “institutions buy the dip while retail gets flushed out.”
Let’s start with a simple idea. Every bitcoin has a “price at which it last changed hands”—in other words, the cost basis when that coin landed in its current holder’s hands. Average out the cost basis of all the coins, and you get the “realized price”—which you can think of as the average cost basis of all holders across the market. It’s like a stock: you want to have a rough idea of the average price at which all shareholders bought in.[1]

🚨 TREASURY YIELDS ARE FALLING.

SO WHY IS BITCOIN STILL WEAK?

A surprising divergence is emerging!

Latest Oct 15 market snapshots:

₿ BTC: ~$81,125
💎 ETH: ~$2,385
🟡 BNB: ~$722

All three remain negative over 24 hours!

Meanwhile 👇

📉 U.S. 10-year Treasury yield fell toward 5.05% intraday.

📉 Technology stocks remain under pressure.

What does this tell us?

⚠️ ① Falling yields don't always mean bullish liquidity

🏦 ② Investors may be seeking safety

🔥 ③ Tech weakness can weigh on crypto risk appetite

💰 ④ BTC needs genuine spot demand, not just lower bond yields

THE REAL QUESTION:

RISK-OFF OR BUYING OPPORTUNITY?

CORE VARIABLES:

RISK APPETITE + SPOT DEMAND

Now watching:

👀 BTC holding the $80K region
👀 ETH and BNB relative strength
