Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev casually followed an account on X, and a meme coin called Giga Tenev immediately shot up 17x, reaching a market cap of $5.26 million.

KOLs toil away writing research reports and shilling coins, while he doesn’t even have to post a tweet—just hit Follow and call it a day. Exchanges should consider a new service for CEOs: paid follows, with transparent pricing. 17x per follow, no exceptions.

Of course, his account could’ve been hacked again—back in July, someone social-engineered their way past his two-factor authentication and used it to promote a fake coin. That’s crypto for you: either get rich quick or get hacked.

Have you ever seen a “free-money trade” like this? Let’s talk in the comments.
