The device displays a long string of characters you can't understand and asks you to confirm. What should you do?
My understanding: Blind signing means handing the entire verification step over to the website initiating the request. If something is wrong with the website, there's no way to notice when you confirm.
Legacy signing methods like eth_sign can sign any hash, and what you sign could be a transaction. Some wallets have disabled it by default.
My rule of thumb: If the wallet's transaction preview shows that assets will be transferred, but I didn't intend to do that, I cancel immediately.
Today's market: $ETH , current price 2398.03 (24h -3.11%).
