⚠️ BTC surged to a peak of 84,898 before pulling back—is 81,600 a golden buying opportunity or a distribution trap?

📊 Market Snapshot
BTC: $81,801|Pulled back more than 3.5% intraday from 84,898; holding steady for now at 81,653
ETH: $2,403|Broke below the previous low of 2,425, giving back all of its two-day gains

1️⃣ Wyckoff Perspective
Yesterday, BTC surged to 84,898 on heavy volume but failed to hold there—a clear UTAD (upthrust after distribution) pattern. Today, three consecutive high-volume 4H bearish candles broke through support at 83,400 / 82,300, signaling weakness (SOW). Price has now returned to the upper edge of the 81,600–81,700 accumulation range. If it forms a spring here and rebounds from a test of the lows, that would confirm a successful retest, with bulls still in the game. A high-volume breakdown, however, would confirm the distribution structure, with 80,700 as the next downside target.

2️⃣ 2B Rule Assessment
A double-bottom test is underway from 80,684 → 81,653. If price finds support around 81,600 and quickly reclaims 82,300, a bullish 2B reversal would be confirmed, with a rebound target of 83,500–84,000. If the rebound lacks strength and price breaks down again, the 2B setup will fail, bears will take control, and the next levels to watch are 80,700 / the psychological 80,000 level.

3️⃣ Dow Theory
The sequence of rising 4H lows (80,684 → 82,338 → 82,729) was broken today. The drop to 81,653 breached the previous pullback low, damaging the short-term uptrend structure. However, price remains above the 80,684 starting point of the rally, so the broader uptrend has not fully reversed. BTC is at the dividing line between a “secondary reaction” and a “trend reversal”—whether it can reclaim 82,300 is key to determining which side has control.

🛡️ Trading Strategy
• Aggressive: If a long lower wick / spring signal appears at 81,600–81,700, consider a small long position; stop-loss at 81,000
• Conservative: Enter only after price reclaims and holds above 82,300; stop-loss at 81,600
• Defensive: A 4H close below 81,600 confirms bearish momentum; downside targets are 80,700 / 80,000
• ETH correlation: If ETH loses 2,400 after reclaiming it, watch 2,395 as support; if it holds, a rebound to 2,470 is possible. If support fails, next target is 2,330
