Market cycle education: Don’t look only at coins that “survived until today.”
When reviewing the previous bull and bear cycle, if you only pick projects that are still popular today, you’ll miss delisted assets, those that ran out of liquidity, and those that eventually went to zero. That’s called survivorship bias.
So “it fell this much in the past, then recovered” often isn’t based on a complete sample. To study cycles, use a fixed list of assets from that time, include the failures, and then compare drawdowns, recovery times, and trading costs.
A cycle is a framework for observation, not a promise that every token will get a chance to break even. #MarketCycles
