I caught an overlooked hard news item at dawn: the U.S. Treasury’s OCC has officially put the GENIUS Act’s federal regulatory framework for payment stablecoins into effect. Not a proposal, but a final rule. The story of these compliant stablecoins, such as $USDC , is much more solid than most altcoin narratives.

The geopolitical side is even more intense. The U.S. and Israel are drafting a new round of strike plans against Iran, a Saudi oil field attack has killed people, Brent crude has surged to $110.9, and the U.S. has even started evacuating diplomats. Strangely, gold has not risen but fallen instead; since August, nearly all of its gains have been given back, and prediction markets are even betting that gold will fall below $4,000 in October. Safe-haven assets are collectively going silent—who is taking the other side of this liquidity wave? $BTC I’m taking a cautious stance.

There is real stuff happening on-chain too: $RAY quarterly revenue surged 264% quarter-over-quarter, and it also spent $5.23 million on buybacks. RWA is even stronger, with tokenized stock trading volume hitting $3.99 billion, and SPYx and NVDAx lining up to scale. Trading U.S. stocks on-chain is moving from a PPT idea to real transactions.

Any time the Middle East gets a new development today, major coins will most likely swing along with the oil-price beta. Keep position sizes light, and don’t get carried away.
