After AI storage stocks plunged, I started taking another look at SNDK

The U.S. AI sector has been quite volatile lately. Chip stocks went through a notable pullback, followed by a rebound.

On October 21, the Nasdaq rose 1.1%, and semiconductor stocks also bounced back. But I don’t think we can simply assume that this rebound means the correction is over.

Over the past few days, I’ve started paying attention to SNDK again.

When people think about AI today, they often think first of GPUs, computing power, and data centers. But there’s another area worth watching: storage.

AI model training and inference, as well as data center expansion, all depend on storage infrastructure. As data volumes continue to grow, storage demand is also worth tracking over the long term.

Of course, demand in an industry doesn’t mean related stocks will necessarily rise. How much of that expectation is already reflected in the share price matters just as much.

I’m now focused on three questions:

1. After the recent pullback, has SNDK really found a bottom?
2. Can AI-driven storage demand translate into sustained results for the company?
3. Will investors return to the storage sector in the coming period?

I’m in no hurry to draw a conclusion.

For me, it makes more sense to first observe the price action and then assess it alongside the fundamentals than to buy the dip just because the stock has plunged.

I’ll keep following the AI trend. As for whether SNDK can make another move higher, I’ll let the market provide the answer.$SNDKB
