Dear Binance Community,
Binance Margin will conduct regular cleanups of Cross Margin accounts with total debt valued at less than 1 USD (or the equivalent value in other assets), effective from 07:00 on 27/10/2026 (Vietnam Time). These cleanups will be conducted daily as part of regular operations.
Target accounts:
Cross Margin accounts with total liabilities of less than the equivalent of 1 USD across all assets.
Margin accounts with no capital activity in the past 6 months. Capital activity is any action that creates a flow of funds, including but not limited to:
Capital transactions: Adding or withdrawing funds from Margin accounts;
Borrowing / Repayment: Taking out or repaying Margin loans;
Close Position / Close All / Repay All: Using these functions on the Margin trading page
*Any open orders placed more than 6 months ago do not count as capital activity.
Important update:
For each eligible account, the system will automatically deduct an amount equivalent to the user's Margin loan debt from the available assets in the Margin account. If the Margin account has multiple types of available assets, Binance reserves the right to choose which available asset to use.
Margin account functions will continue to operate normally. Users can borrow or trade at any time after the cleanup is complete.
Accounts with total liabilities equal to or greater than the equivalent of 1 USD will not be affected by this cleanup.
Please note:
The cleanup will be processed in batches. Users can check the status of their Margin accounts after the cleanup is complete.
