Dear Binance Community,
At Binance Futures, the team periodically reviews each futures contract based on various factors.
The team considers the following factors when determining whether a futures contract should be delisted:
Trading volume and liquidity
The stability and security of the network against attacks
New legal requirements
Changes to the token supply, tokenomics, project ownership structure, the team's commitment to the project, and the project's development activities
The level of responsiveness to our periodic due diligence requests
Evidence of unethical or fraudulent conduct, or negligence
Binance Futures will close all positions and conduct automatic settlement for the following perpetual contracts:
October 23, 2026, at 16:00 (Vietnam Time): USDⓈ-M PTBUSDT and MITOUSDT Perpetual Contracts
The contracts will be delisted after settlement is completed.
Please note:
Users will not be able to open new positions, except reduce-only orders, for the contracts listed above from the following time:
October 21, 2026, at 16:30 (Vietnam Time): USDⓈ-M PTBUSDT and MITOUSDT Perpetual Contracts
Please note that some market makers may be exempt from these restrictions to maintain market liquidity.
Users are advised to close all open positions before the delisting time to avoid automatic settlement.
During the final hour before a futures contract's scheduled settlement, the Futures Insurance Fund will not be used to support the liquidation process for that contract. Any liquidation triggered during the final hour will be executed as a single Immediate or Cancel Order (“IOCO”) and submitted to the market in one attempt. If, after the IOCO is executed, the remaining assets in the user's account are sufficient to meet the required Maintenance Margin after accounting for realized losses and any applicable Insurance Settlement Fees, the liquidation process will stop. If the IOCO cannot reduce the position enough to meet the Maintenance Margin requirements, any unfilled portion of the position will be handled through the Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) process. Users are strongly advised to actively monitor and manage their open positions during the final hour, as this period may have higher volatility and lower liquidity.
To protect users and prevent potential risks under extremely volatile market conditions, Binance Futures may apply additional protective measures to the contracts listed above without further notice. These measures include, but are not limited to, adjusting the maximum leverage, position value, and Maintenance Margin in each margin tier; updating the funding rate, such as the interest rate, basis, and funding rate cap; changing the components of the price index; and using the Nearby Price Protection mechanism to update the Mark Price.
