China's stuck in a weird loop right now.

On one side: they're flooding the world with exports because domestic demand is weak. Works great... until it doesn't. Europe and other markets can only absorb so much before the tariffs and trade tensions kick in.

On the other side: their own consumers aren't spending. The state keeps propping up certain sectors, but you can't stimulus your way out of a demand problem forever.

Both sides of this equation are getting shakier. Export-driven growth has limits when your customers start pushing back. And internal consumption won't magically recover if households are scared or overleveraged.

China's been threading this needle for a while, but the room for error is shrinking. Worth watching closely — when the world's second-largest economy is running on fumes domestically and export saturation externally, something's gotta give.
