The 150-millisecond finality upgrade is now live, but $SOL has retreated from today’s high of 109.20 to 105.57. The technical boost hasn’t translated directly into price strength.
As of 11:15 Beijing time, Binance SOL/USDT opened at 108.49 today, with a high of 109.20 and a low of 105.27. That’s down 2.69% from the open and 3.32% from the high.
My take: cutting confirmation time from about 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds is a long-term fundamental positive. In the short term, though, the market is trading the news as a “sell the news” event. I won’t buy unless it holds around 105; I’ll reassess if it gets back above 107 and stays there.
