The official account just announced, “Aero is here.” This isn’t a countdown—it’s the real launch.
Aerodrome and Velodrome have merged to form Aero, with spot trading launching across seven chains at once: Base, Robinhood Chain, $ETH mainnet, OP Mainnet, Arc, Ink, and Arbitrum. The underlying technology has been upgraded to MetaDEX03; at launch, 100% of exchange revenue will go to sAERO stakers.
Tokenomics: legacy $AERO and VELO are being converted into new $AERO at a fixed ratio, with the entire supply going to existing holders—the community split is roughly 94.5%/5.5%, with no VC-diluting token mint. Binance had already announced the related change: VELODROME spot trading pairs will be discontinued on November 3.
I only look at hard facts: two leading L2 DEXs have merged into a single cross-chain spot layer, and it's live. Check on-chain to see how liquidity depth and fees perform.
This is not investment advice.
