Yesterday I said that chasing $IOST at the highs was just becoming exit liquidity. Today, let’s see how it played out.

When I posted, it was at 0.00097. It surged to 0.0019 in a day, nearly doubling, then got slammed back to 0.00098. $53 million in trading volume—everyone paid for a roller-coaster ride.

I wasn’t betting on up or down; I was betting on the script: the hard fork was just a technical move coordinated with exchanges for an upgrade, not a sign that $IOST had changed its fortunes. Anyone who chased above 0.0011 didn’t get out in time.

Put simply, they used the event as bait to lure people in, then ran the classic pump-and-dump. Those who saw it coming watched from the sidelines; those who didn’t paid the price.

I’ll come back and check all my documented calls, and own up whether I’m right or wrong.

Not investment advice. DYOR.
